The days are gone when the choice was either a motorcycle or a scooter. Suzuki have combined motorcycle technology (for performance, stability, cornering ability and ride) with the best scooter features (convenience and weather protection) and created the Burgman 400Z ABS.
Powered by a single cylinder, four-stroke DOHC motor with fuel injection driving through a centrifugal clutch and V-belt transmission, the Burgman 400 is ‘twist and go’. Developing maximum torque at 5,800RPM, power comes in right off the bottom for instant acceleration from the lusty single. Cruising long distances at motorway speeds is also well within its capability.
The motorcycle type chassis and running gear includes telescopic front forks with twin discs plus a single disc brake on the rear. Enhancing the motorcycle handling is a substantial 150/70 by 13” section rear tyre along with a 120/80 by 14” on the front. Preload adjustable monoshock rear suspension assists both straight line and cornering stability. The luxury specification includes a huge underseat storage compartment, full weather protection including knuckle guards and heated grips, ABS as standard, passenger backrest and full instrumentation. Why compromise? This is a fully capable two wheeler delivering practical, economical, everyday fun transport in style.
